Floating Leaved Weeds These plants are rooted in the sediment, often with extensive and vigorous root or rhizome systems. They produce floating leaves at the surface of the water. Flowers are often conspicuous (e.g. Water lilies). They can be controlled by application of glyphosate as Roundup Pro Biactive and TopFilm, usually better results are achieved when the plants are flowering.
