Control of Algae

Control of algae with chemicals is now no longer possible, due to the withdrawal of Clarosan and Reglone as a result of European reviews.

You need to know what type of algae you are dealing with, unicellular (green water) or filamentous (blanket weed) as this can make a difference to treatment methods and time taken for control.  Click HERE for some microscope images of algae
