Emergent Broad-Leaved Weeds
These are rooted at the margins of
watercourses, either on damp mud, or in the water. They have broad
leaves, not like grasses. They flower and set seed during one season.
They can be perennial or can grow from seed each season.
vegetative reproduction by fragmentation is important for non-native
species.
